The Womack family also shared their experience with the impact of delayed cleanup on their property. They noted that piles of debris have affected the health of their lawn and have seen code enforcement representatives pass through daily—though without the cleanup trucks they had hoped for. In response, a city sanitation department representative explained that recent permitting to store debris at Toytown landfill should help accelerate the pace of cleanup.
